The Moore Collection is owned and operated by a mother and daughter team who are dedicated to bringing you great merchandise at great prices. Established July 1st 2002, we've been working to add more of a variety of items and keep up with current decorating trends. Although the Moore Collection is a small home business, we are working to expand to providing other business owners exceptional wholesale prices and business opertunities for kiosks, gift shops, and retail stores. We are currently looking for self-starters to help us expand because with this business you really do get out what you put in and we've been putting in our time.
As mentioned above, we started this business in July of 2002. Before that time, Mother worked in jewelry stores in California and Oklahoma for over twenty years including a few years at Oklahoma's oldest jewelers, B.C. Clark's. Daughter followed in her footsteps working part-time at jewelry stores during college and then while starting an eBay business with a friend (listing over 500 items a month). Currently, Mother is working in salons for retirement communities and Daughter has a job working with a car rental company. Obviously, this website is not the base of our income but merely a nice supliment (which is why we offer lower prices and wholesale- we're not going to hike the price up just to make more money to have it be an income).
This website is also used for advertising. You might find yourself in a store, and maybe are rushed for time, and you find yourself thinking, "I wonder if they have a website...Or a catalog I can look at when I'm home..." That's what this website and our catalogs are for. When we're out at church or talking with friends we most likely can't show them items that we sell that would make that perfect gift for whomever we're talking about. So, we say, "Hey, we've got a catalog with that in it or you can take a look at our website."
But this website isn't just for friends and family of the Moore Collection, we want it to be for your friends and family. We have so much fun buying and selling stuff for ourselves, for our friends and family, why should we keep it to ourselves? We're excited about doing business and want to earn your business.
